Welcome to Dubuque Lutheran School — and thank you for the opportunity to describe what makes parents and students excited to be part of the DLS family!
We are a team of highly dedicated and highly compassionate teachers who are committed to providing an unsurpassed academic education for your children. This is accomplished through our trained faculty, low student-to-teacher ratio (currently an average of 14 students per classroom), and proven academic programs and curriculum.
But beyond the educational excellence that we foster, we also strive to build students of character — who will “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior” (2 Peter 3:18). We want to train young people to not only excel academically, but to also acknowledge Christ in all that they do (Proverbs 3:5-6).
As you explore our website, we trust you will discover that DLS is more than a school. We are an institution that is passionately committed to joining with families and churches (of all denominations) to equip and develop students for life.
If you are looking for a Christ-centered school where your child will be personally educated in a structured yet creative environment, please consider DLS. We would love the opportunity to give you a tour of our classrooms and facilities — and to show you, in person, how your child will grow and flourish at Dubuque Lutheran School. Please give us a call at 563-588-0614.
Enriching the whole child — soul, mind, and body — in a Christ-centered environment.
